Drawing on 47 years of experience in the field of electroacoustic music, Martin Gotfrit will offer musings on the art form’s history and possible futures.

Bob Pritchard will be discussing recent work with alternative controllers for electroacoustics and for video, including the Responsive User Body Suit (RUBS) and the Kinect Controlled Artistic Sensing System (KiCASS), two UBC-funded projects for tracking motion in performance. The RUBS uses e-textiles to generate data, and KiCASS uses optical tracking of performers.
