About the Artist:

Adrian Verdejo is a Canadian classical guitarist and music educator based in Vancouver. He performs as a soloist as well as with the Victoria Guitar Trio, the McGregor-Verdejo Duo and various improvised music ensembles. He has also played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, VICO, Turning Point, Aventa and more. He is dedicated to the creation of new works for guitar, commissioning and premiering numerous original pieces. Verdejo has also arranged various solo and ensemble works for guitar.

Adrian Verdejo is a guitar instructor at the Vancouver Community College School of Music, and he maintains a busy private teaching studio in Vancouver. Verdejo holds degrees from University of Ottawa (MMus), University of Victoria (BMus), and Capilano University, he studied with guitarists Patrick Roux, Dr. Alexander Dunn, and Stephen Boswell.
